Thanks for being on KZbin!! ❤️ Whew!! Needed you because I am mechanically challenged. The lousy F&P manual directions need to substitute your method. It doesn’t even suggest raising up the platform instead of bending over to position clips on tines.

Hmmm... one clip provided matches video; the other one doesn't. But overall helpful, because the one that matches is more challenging to figure out orientation. And of course, no instructions were included , so thank you for the hints.

Yes they now have three different types of racks across the models as they continue to tweak them. At this stage they are pretty close so haven't got around to making another video on them.

Been so frustrating draling with this! Now I need to figure out the other rack! Keeps falling apart:/ think the snap on pieces are a bit worn out, keeps falling apart;p

Hi. If once you assemble yours as shown, it doesn’t clip onto your basket at the bottom as shown in the video, pls try placing the front bracket in between the second and third uprights. That’s how it comes from the factory.

What replacement part is this? I've been in the Fisher/Paykel website and can't figure out which crockery rack replacement it is.

There are several different ones depending on which model you have. I think this one is a 512818 but not 100% sure.

Does this fit an older machine 603 etc ?

No they are all different each model unfortunately. You might be able to get second hand ones for a 603 if you ask your local appliance repair shop to keep an eye out, they are just past that age where people are replacing them quite often

I don't get what purpose the movable wire that is fixed besides and the cutlery box ? Can someone help?

the racks fold down so you can place things like pots in instead of plates, is that what you mean?

@@motrepairs No... it folds up n down.. it sits under the Cutlery unit. It is a kinda square shaped wire .
