Replacing driver side front window regulator, winder window lifter on seat altea

I've seat altea 2009 and my front right window stopped working. While driving I opened it a bit and when tried to close it, I heard loud bang. Like rock hit the side of the door. Because of the noise I thought the cable snapped. I'm not mechanic and this is my first car. But after watching this video realised I could fix it myself. Ordered new window regulator for 18.99£ and managed to fix it. Thank you so much for this video. Saved me prob a bit of money. It was a great experience fixing it. BTW... 2 crews left over. I think they were spare anyway 😅

Great job. Replacing it was pretty simple, but getting that freaking panel back on the door was nightmare. On mine, bottom two bolts on rails goes through panel through panel and is very difficult to bolt it back through panel to window rails.

Thanks for this very useful. I've found the front electric windows on the Toledo 3, and Altea are underpowered for the size and weight of the window.

You forgot the white part on the right side behind the small panel with textile cover. How to remove that white plastic that you don't have on your video?

That White part was a very annoing for me. I cutted it, because i didn't see any point of use. Maybe its porpouse it's for security, to see if someone disassembled the door panel before you.
