Replacing Hood Struts On A Hyundai

If your car hood won't stay up on it's own there is a good chance that the hood struts are not working properly. Over time they can become weak and lose pressure needed to hold a hood up and keep it in place safely. Hood strut replacement is important. Rick when that occurs most of the time it's due to a bad light bulb which is burned out. Next would be a short due to a broken wire of corrosion. I don't have a video on that. Let us know what you find!

Hyundai is telling me that there is a difference between a driver side and passenger side strut for my 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited. Different price as well. Aren't they the same on both sides?

Usually it's the brake line mount that's different. Left and right on different sides.
