It's always a learning process, but at least it's working now. Well done and thumbs up for the father and son team.

Great fix guys! VW horns have quirky wiring but you got it figured out and did a great job sharing it all. Hope to see you soon at one of the local meets!

Great job fellas! My 17 year old daughter is restoring a 68' Beetle. She is working on the brake system today and tomorrow but since it is dark I am looking at how to do the horn system. :P There is an ugly aftermarket steering wheel on it now but we have and original to put on. Looks just like the one you have. But we are missing the center and horn bar. I see online there is a chrome horn ring with the center button and mounting kit. We are in Washington State so I think we will have to order most parts online. Cant just run down to the local VW shop. :P. But I need to research and see what our options are local. Do you have a good place you like to order online? I will send your video link to my daughter to look over. And look and see what other videos you have. Great idea on documenting and doing it together! I have photos and videos of her journey.. Fun fun!!!!

Thanks for stopping by, we have been pretty quiet on the channel but have more things in the works. Too hot here in Florida to work out in the garage lol. For online, jbugs is a good place to start. They have a large selection of inexpensive parts. Wolfsburg West is another go to for us as well. Good luck to your daughter and feel free to reach out anytime with questions.

@@2GuysandaBug Thanks for the info! I drove “Babes” home tonight and she ran great for the 45 mile trip. We are making a list of things to work on next. Must have and to do fist and then a wish list 🤪
