The same procedure works for a manual N/A Pt Cruiser with the NP T350 transmission. Which I believe is the same or very similar as the Patriot transmission.

Bring a friend! This is a super video that you made! I have a T-350 manual transmission (DODGE AVENGER 2.0 petrol engine) and the same noise problem. The reason is a leaking axle shaft seal. I only realized this late because the mechanic at the auto service told me that I should buy a new clutch kit, and I drove almost 1000 km on this noise. I'm afraid that the gears might be damaged. I forgot to say that I'm from Estonia. Thank you very much!

Man I wish this video existed a year ago. Nobody ever mentions you have to modify the puller. I went through three pullers (with my car apart) before just grinding down the one you used. Unfortunately, two weeks after doing the job to success, I found the snap clips in my toolbox. It lasted 40k without those clips so here I go again..but your video is by far the best!

Super że trafiłem na twój film. Miałem właśnie zdemontować skrzynię biegów Dodge Caliber. A twój film zaoszczędził mi kupę roboty. Great job!!!

I did the same job procedure on my jeep.Very important........it's going to save you a lot of time, with that bearing puller you should turn the jaws reverse, with the anchoring pins outside and then get inside the broken bearing that way, it's going to come right off very easy, great job by the way

I just did this job with confidence thanks to this video. Honestly, grinding down the puller may have been the hardest part. I know it all would have been much harder without your help though. Thank you!

Planning on doing this for my 2G Eclipse using a NVT350 transmission, should be the same process. Thank you for the great video!!

Yeah thank you. Doing this in the few days once the bearings come in. The tip about the drill bits to break into the bearing race looks like it will be helpful. Just hoping I got the right bearing puller😂

For real, I’ve been watching everyone on other videos struggle with that. I’m hoping the drill bit trick works just like that.

Hi.. Thanks for your video! I have the same problem but when I put the 3rd and 4th gear I feel some problems like synchronization between gears.. Can you give a advice?? Thanks.

Did you fully drain the transmission fluid before this job or did you just replace the fluid that came out when you took that cover plate off?
@AmericanMadeClassics4 ай бұрын
Drained the Trans Fluid out of the Drain Plug before doing the job, and then replaced all fluid. The video goes over the process...

ive been racking my brain trying to figure out what causes this to happen before i put mine back together, the fact that those bearing have "seals" but theres a whole lubrication system designed for them is odd, both transmissions i have had too much silicone on the cover which blocked the oil from circulating, and this trans has a modular clutch so that bearing is actually taking thrust everytime you push the clutch in which isnt ideal for ball bearings, just a weird setup
@ragdolltrucking2 ай бұрын
any ideas on the cause and ways to prevent it from happening again?
@andrewleshabelaАй бұрын
Removing bearings rear seals might be the solution. As the bearings will be continuously lubricated

Mine is doing this only when cold. When everything is warmed up no more racket. I know it's the countershaft bearings.

Witam, magna t355 to kiepski projekt. Ja w compass mk49 z 2012r łożyska wymieniałem po 58000km. Zastosowanie łożysk krytych które pracują w oleju to zły pomysł. Dlaczego konstruktorzy tak to zrobili ?
@Sgtyork488 Жыл бұрын
Hi,it’s just a basic set up,but least they designed it to be serviceable,it’s not bad vehicle manual transmission is far better then automatic
@andrewleshabelaАй бұрын
I think it will be good to remove bearing rear seal to allow frequently lubrication. The issues here is that the bearings are districted to lubrication due to this seals.
