You do not need to remove the air supply line. But still completed 6 spark plugs. Great job, I subscribed to your channel.

Thanks for subscribing The best way is to remove the wiper motor assembly and the cowl just what I did on the video it's easy

Hey I have a question. I recently changed my motor mounts and now at idle it seems the car wants to turn off. I connected everything back how it was, all the vacuum lines. It starts pretty hard, and then it heats up and it’s from 600-700 rpm and goes down to 500rpm and that’s when I feel like as if it wants to turn off. When I start driving it feels normal and I don’t feel like it wants to turn off.Any ideas on what it can be? Thanks

Try cleaning the throttle body If the throttle body is the old design try cleaning ISC idle speed control valve
@junebug346 Жыл бұрын
@@philmekanikdiy5772 I will try cleaning the throttle body. I have an 05 Avalon. If that doesn’t fix the issue what else can it be? Thanks

Make sure vacuum ports ,vacuum switching valve are not broken this will cause unmetered air flow of intake air

Correct me if I’m wrong but did you reuse your old coils?
@philmekanikdiy5772 Жыл бұрын
Yes, cedrick ignition coils are not so consumable parts Unless one of them is misfiring you have to replace it unfortunately coils are throw away type Most common issue is the connector turns brittle during disconnection they break one hint i can share is use a little RTV silicone just to keep it connected
@cristovive2606 Жыл бұрын
So it is possible to do it with out taking of the intake ? I know some models you can't ?
@philmekanikdiy5772 Жыл бұрын
There's 2 option if you don't want to remove the intake manifold you have remove the wiper mechanism
@philmekanikdiy5772 Жыл бұрын
The older avalon it's much easier equipped with 1mz fe engine
@TheMoodyLoners Жыл бұрын
You can change plugs without removing intake but it's so much easier if you remove it. The space between the engine and the cowl is so tight you won't be able to see much back there and you'll end up just feeling around with your hands in the dark.
@philmekanikdiy5772 Жыл бұрын
If the brake booster is mounted on the left side You don't have to remove the intake manifold or wiper mechanism On that video the car is right hand drive

What tools were needed ???
@philmekanikdiy57722 жыл бұрын
Just basic tools only as you've seen on the video I'm using pretty common tools like 10mm,12mm size sockects and a universal joint so that your tooling can be more flexible Anyway the only difficult part of this plug servicing is dealing with those plugs on the other bank the front bank is easier to manage But if you're mechanically incline i think i could be easy for you
