Thanks for this video. I've been looking at having the covers 3D printed or perhaps turn some out of delrin or similar plastic. The ones on mine failed at the molding seam, eliminate that seam and they should last longer. My thoughts are to machine a set with the inner lip mostly gone but solid on the outer face for more strength. Sort of like a soda cap. The originals are injection molded to the bearing before it is lubed, then the rivet is spun into place to lock it to the plate. That is why they cannot be replaced at this time. I did make a replacement out of aluminum and it works OK but it is louder in use. A trick on getting the bolts started, turn it backwards until you feel it drop into place. The threads will self align that way.
