What are those white tools you used called ? Clips?
@shawnmiller93232 жыл бұрын
How do you get the clip off the fuel line right before using the fuel line disconnect tool? There was a hose in the way of the camera when you used the screw driver to pry something.

Just a comment, there are two types of sensor. I have a 13 hemi 5.7 and it has the same sensor as the one in the 2015 it is weird why when I bought it it said that there were no left in 2013

Is the fuel pressure sensor the same as a fuel rail pressure sensor?
@liberty93482 жыл бұрын
I replaced the sensor. The truck now starts, runs, accelerates, doesn't stumble, drives fine. However, the code is still there and the check engine light is still on. Did I miss something?

@@ruskoffhicham3913 I did find a solution. I had to drive the truck for a little bit which I guess told the computer that it was fixed. Then I was able to go in and clear the code on the OBD2 interface. It's funny now, but the truck needs a new engine and is currently just sitting. It has 148K miles on it. Apparently, the 5.7L Hemi engine shuts down some cylinders when you're on the highway to save on fuel. This in turn, due to poor design, damages the rockers and camshaft and puts metal shavings into the oil, which ends up damaging the pistons, rings, bearings, etc. At around 150K miles, the engine will take a shht. All this information came directly from the Dodge dealership here in Spartanburg, SC. The mechanic that gave me the info said he had to swap two engines THAT WEEK for the same thing. They said it would be eight grand to replace the engine. I'll be rebuilding it myself instead..... Should have bought the Toyota....

@@jluv420 Had the same problem- parts are hard to come by and the weather was bad- I ended driving almost a thousand miles before I could change it but the engine ran great before - during- and after- I just changed it because the check engine light came on and the engine analyzer said it was bad- good thing it was an easy fix- the part cost me $82.50 and 2 trips to another city because they gave me the wrong part at the dealership- good luck

Is it necessary to relieve the fuel pressure, before changing the sensor?
@richleskovec4075Ай бұрын
Not entirely, but if you pull the fuse and crank it, then there’s no splurge when it’s disconnected
