Not sure if it’s YT issue but I cannot change video quality to 1080p. It’s keeps the video at 480p when selecting High Quality. At 480p, everything is slightly blurred for my old eyes. Thank you Shane for the video

Check your internet connection, and do an internet speed test. If the internet is strong then adjust the video settings using the gear icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the video. I record in 1080p HD See this post for more kzbin.infoUgw0NY6CgL4IM8dNS2Z4AaABCQ

If just add a new safety IO, do we need to reset the ownership for adding it?

The ownership should be for the processor that it is installed in just as I should in this video

I had a question in our process we have a remote I/O set up with safety cards. If we plug in a brand new card out of the box it never requires us to do anything. I was once told if we out a safety card in a slot on the chassis it is now assigned to that slot. Is there anyway to be able to pull that card back out and use it in a different slot? Or would that be the same thing as resetting the ownership. I find it crazy that once you put a card into a slot you can't use it anywhere else but that slot, this what I was told I'm not sure how true it is

In that case you still need to reset ownership

@ShaneWelcher ok so for instance if someone replaces a module and that wasn't the issue. If we wanted to use that card elsewhere we would reset the ownership.

We had to set the safety network number then we were able to take ownership of the card

We have a AB 45 KW motor connected to a AB 45 KW drive, But in running load is only 4 to 5 KW only it has a internal shunt connected on a the same power rail and a external shunt connected through internal shunt . While the motor applys break the drive goes into E-75 fault despite of connecting an external shunt. Please suggest on this.

Really hard to answer because of all the variables involved. Sounds like you do not have the parameters set up right or maybe the physical wiring isn't correct. Double check everything, along with proper grounding.

Point IO have safety module in Rockwell, they are red modules that use two slots
