I have an error 3 on my centurion iron filter. I reset and it came back when it regenerated again. Do I need to rebuild it?

Hello, the seal kit in a Centurion should be replaced annually, so if that has not been done in the past year, I would start there. The piston can generally be cleaned off and reused, but if the gray Teflon coating is scratched or scuffed, the piston should be replaced as well. If the error 3 is ocurring even after the seals and piston have been serviced, then you likely will need a new I2MTR-KIT (replacement circuit board/motor kit).

@@Eighty8Fitter yes, we have had the Legacy View iOS app available since 4th quarter of 2016--if your unit is older than this, then it does not have the right Bluetooth LE radio to be iOS compatible (earlier 2016 models were Android-only, pre-2016 models do not have the Bluetooth radio at all), but if you get the new I2MTR-KIT, it will fully upgrade all of your electronics, and your unit will now be compatible with Legacy View on iOS. Regarding salt monitors for water softeners, we have had one available since 2014, but it is a standalone unit that does not communicate with the app.

0.29 when I press the set change button the display does not read one after three seconds. The two segmented display shows an illuminated segment in both spaces going in circles. Then it stops and shows something like 1-10.

if the display shows a number greater than 1, then pressing and holding the set/change button will make it go to 1. Once it's already showing 1, pressing and holding set/change will kick it into a regen cycle.
