You only replace them when the device start not keeping time. In 30 or so years I maybe have replaced 2-3. I replace they on older systems as a just in case. Good video.

Asustor, I want asubtor asubtor locerstore gen2 with two pci4 bus and lanes with ecc memory. Qhat kind of freak designed gen3 without embedded video card, if they did, did not allow additional empty pcie slot to insert a graphic card?

You need to do a video for the AS6702T CMOS battery replacement, and the clearing of the CMOS. I just took mine apart and popped up the CMOS battery so it would disconnect, but I didn't see the jumper to switch places momentarily to clear the CMOS. after a power outage mine is staying in the Green flashing system LED, but won't finish booting, all the other LEDs are showing good, HDDs are both solid green, Network is Blue, Power is on. going to have to take it apart again tomorrow and try again. I had shut it down in the ADM, then pulled the plug so that I could put it's power supply connected to my Uninterruptible power supply because we get power drop outs, but after plugging it back in, all I get are all LEDs are showing correct except the System LED which continues in the flashing mode of starting up, no beeps. I said power outage because plugging it into the UPS I had to change it around on the wire placement and forgot to use the power button and just pulled the plug in the back. Argh...
