Replacing the failed thermostat on my Audi A4 B6 1.8t

Hello everyone , here in this video I am replacing the failed thermostat on my A4 B6 1.8t , probably many of you guys know how to do it but I tried to show how I've done it , thank you for watching and don't forget to subscribe )

It’s not my flange it’s no leak thought was my thermostat replaced that still leaking I can’t seem to find the leak only leaks when I start the car I let it sit it doesn’t not sure where else to look any ideas?

I wonder if any has just blocked off the j-plug? I mean they are completely useless for most 1.8t setups

Hey man, just discovered your channel. I saw that you had a GTRS on your other A4 but you weren't really happy with how it drove and the terrible mpg you got. I was deciding on getting a Frankenturbo or GTRS but now I'm not so sure I want to even upgrade the turbo for my A4. It's my daily right now and don't really plan on selling it any time soon or ever. I'm on stage 1 right now. You think I should upgrade the turbo or just go for stage 1+? I hope you don't have to replace the rear coolant flange any time soon. That thing was a pain in the ass to replace.

Hey thanks for the comment, yes I did replaced the flange already haha , in my opinion and from experience don't do the gtrs you can go k04 or the frankenturbo which I think its similar and more reliable

@@Albertotron hows the mpg with stage1 with the 1.8t? about to upgrade my a4 b6 with eurodyne stage 1

@@kevinhawley962 It's about the same as before. Maybe just a tiny bit better since it has more power in the lower rpms and I don't have to wring out the engine.
