I've been thinking about what would happen if we chop the wire and add a waterproof quick disconnect? What do you think? Make an easier tire, change, bearing change, motor change and service

Those wires are Hall sensors for the motor . I guess Kaboo doesn't use Hall sensors ?

Agreed water killed it. That bering should have lasted 10k plus and the 1500w motors are not ip rated at all. Good warning video thanks

No, you do not have to remove the deck and remove the wires. You can do a tire change without unplugging the phase wires.

Trying to figure out what’s wrong with mine and I think its the rear motor, will the front motor work if the rear motor doesn’t? I have power to the scooter but the tires wont spin

That’s a great question. Yes I would think that the front motor would spin if the rear one was broken because they’re on separate controllers

Got my problem figured out, will need a new motor, one more question tho, the extra wires on the new motor that weren’t on youre old one, what did they end up being for?

Those are for hall sensors they’re not used. The controllers don’t use whole sensors on this model.

How many miles did you have on this scooter before your bearings went out? And did they cover any of it under warranty? I just purchased the Wolf King GT Pro and I have not even had it outside yet. Been raining every since I got it as I live in Washington as well.

@StickyWhiteFly This scooter has about 2500 miles on it. I do ride it in the rain a lot though. And yes it was covered under warranty I just took short clips of the bearing noise and Voro Motors made it right. Not sure if the rain damaged the bearings or just went bad. Hope this answers your questions.
