If I have my head on square, I believe a 9/32 socket will work also. Been a few years since I did builds on the old 11. The 15 now needs a bulb or two and you reminded me of how easy these tail lights are to work on. Thanks much!

@@marcusfixesstuff The original reason for the stop was for my speed, to be honest 🤣 but he is a friend and I don't ask for or expect friendly or professional courtesies. But while I could have gotten ticketed for speeding, he used his discretion and only wrote me for the brake light. I get it fixed today and the ticket goes away. That's why your video is exactly what I needed. Thanks again.

Always check the FUSE first before changing bulbs - if they are BOTH OUT it is likely the fuse.

Nope. Never have used gloves and have never had an issue. I’m just trying to help people do things themselves and not everyone has gloves, myself included. But, by all means, use gloves if you want. Thanks for the comment.

When you pull the light cover off of the vehicle, the brake light bulb is the bottom bulb. I’ll see if I can find more information for you. Thanks.

After doing some research, I found that you have to take apart the top of the rear hatch. My wife has informed me that I am not allowed to do that to her car so I’m afraid I spoke too soon about a video. I apologize.

I believe it is the bulb however, you pretty much have to take the whole top of the hatch apart to get to it. I hope that is where you are meaning, the top of the hatch. Thanks for the question.

I did some research and found that you have to take the back hatch apart. It is a long process and my wife wouldn’t let me do it to our car. There are some videos out there if you want to check them out.
