This is the first video I actually recorded but set it aside to do other videos and finally got back to it to edit it and post it.
The cooling fans on my 2015 Chevrolet suburban would stay running, even after I turned off the vehicle and everything cooled down. The only way I could get the fans to turn off was to pull the fuses.
In this video, I replace the thermostat. Prior to this video, I replaced the temperature sensor. During the video, I remembered that I have to reset the warning light for the system to operate properly. It's a good reminder to clear out any check engine warning codes after changing any parts or making any repairs or you may find yourself wasting time.
This same procedure is good for the Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Cadillac Escalade and other GM vehicles in the same class and year range.
