Knowing now, I could of just replaced the O ring for €1 😂 but I’m still not even sure if it was 100% the o ring or a hairline crack somewhere else . But it’s all swapped now and done

@@stevenharpervw if you'd only done the seal, it wouldn't be that, the rust was keeping that sealed 😂

@@CrispysProjects ya I know I was telling myself oh a cheap o ring would of fixed it . And then the other part of me was saying 30 years of heat cycles vs a new pump

Hello Steven ...any experience of erratically water guage that shows rising temp starts even flashing red light when the water is actually not overboiling? I changed now 3x the top sensor with the one wire on it ...and face same problem. Changed both fan sensors and even thermostat too. Can you advise? Golf mk1 cabrio 1986 1800cc?

Remove the sensor on the expansion bottom and clean the prongs . Pull the relay 42 and check terminals or swap it for a new one . This problem plages everyone ! Ask on Facebook mk1 golf . A lad called Johnny is very helpful or his user name rub Johnny on the websites

The water pump is from a mk1 gti golf ( Petrol 1.8) I don’t think it’s the same

They tend to be a little bit wise and don’t drink rad water . But I have heard that bees go mad for green coolant, there is some sweetness to it. But when they drink it, the whole hive can get sick and die . Random fact of the day 😅
