Replacing Watts 2in 009 with Wilkins 375

I just had a 1” 375 fail a test. No apparent. Thought maybe just debris or worse case replace the #1 check. Ended up with a total rebuild. Both check seats were not just dinged but they looked like they got sheered off and after that the RV opened too high. Found the seat area on that full of slugs and even it’s seat felt rough. Have been getting too many damaged seats in the smaller 3/4” 375s to want to use them.

weird, Its been awhile but a couple years ago the plastic seemed to get brittle so maybe its an older one but I still use them pretty much exclusively
