People complain about Farrell's competitive rubbing people the wrong way (very evident in this game), but then Alun Wyn Jones winds people up and holds people into rucks and is regarded a genius?

@@thecuttingsark5094 & @Jonny Baynham: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYqvfKeBirdoqbM @Scarlet Turk: He's done his very best, and that's all we can ask of him. But if we ever still have hopes of winning the Rugby World Cup in our lifetimes, we need to completely banish the desire to have slightly easy games that allow coasting at 80% pace. That can only be achieved through turning the Pro14 to two divisions of ten teams, splitting in two after nine fixtures; with the second division relegation interlocking with Spanish/Portugese leagues, Italian/German/Dutch leagues, Romanian/Georgian/Russian leagues to promote the game in the very long-term. Yes, this would definitely mean brutal financial relegation, but that's the only way we're going to banish complacency. Not only will it sort the men from the boys, it'll make the significance of every game mean much more - great for TV in the long-term; even if there will be those who(m) follow the Celtic Warriors. It's a price we have to pay.

Wales only come into the game once England are down to 13 men.
@worldallycat3 жыл бұрын
Through foul play. You could equally say England only got a penalty because Wales broke the rules. That's the game. Silly, lazy comment
@monuvention90223 жыл бұрын
@@worldallycat @Teme Valley Asset Investor You could say Wales STOPPED playing when England were down to 13. Just like France's second sean bean the previous Saturday, it was as if the Welsh scrum thought they'd done the hard bit - NOT the easy bit. The professional fouls were committed to prevent try scoring opportunities. The hard bit is scoring the tries - the only statistic that matters. When we had the extra player(s) in both games the necessity, the focus, to get that damn ball over the line simply wasn't there.
@taffshep13 жыл бұрын
don't know how you work out times or whether you had a few to many and fell asleep and then woke up not sure, but as the richest and 2nd most player base in the world have you only Won one world cup? and over the last decade have you not one more 6 nations championships let alone Grandslams! given the resources available to England I would say that on the whole you are probably the worst performing side in the world. Don't say its your second or third choice sport because you have not performed there either.You wonder why "everybody wants to beat us" not worked it out yet?it's because of your arrogance and that is not justified by performance in all 3 sports. Before you can build you have to be realistic and accept reality and recognise that you are not as good as you think. Then maybe your arrogance will not come across as disrespectful to other nations and perhaps let you accept that there is hard work to be done and never underestimate your opposition, because that smacks of arrogance which clearly you have not earned the right!

@lawrencebutler70163 жыл бұрын
in fairness to tuilagi he flies in expecting to smash him with left shoulder. Then norths leg is caught by the tackle and he suddenly slows down and drops meaning tuilagi hits him high and with the shoulder he wasnt expecting to use. Is it a red? yes, but an understandable one.

Whoever this commentator might be, he the most awful twanging nasal voice. Don't the programme makers ever audition the commentators, or listen to their own programmes before broadcasting? By the way, Harrison is top of my awful commentators list, if only because of his omnipresence. He should remember Richie Benaud's dictum: "If you've got nothing to say, say nothing". It is not necessary, in fact it is most certainly the sign of a bad commentator, to fill every second with commentary, because most of it will be irrelevant nonsense. Let the action do the talking.
