kagiw, Sure. Boc was able to track and catch the illegal shipment. FYI, even in America, there's NO way you can stop all drug entries into the country. It's just impossible. Commissioner Faeldon should be commended. However he should exert more effort to get rid of the corrupt officials still working in his department . The chronic corruption at the Bureau of Customs can be minimized substantially. Immediately fund the purchase of container X-Ray machines.Provide them the number of machines they need plus a few backups.This will eliminate a lot of loopholes that translate to corruption. The new Customs Academy applicants should have analytical skills of Process Engineering background. Lawyers are more inclined to find a loophole and not a technical knowledge to keep up with the mind of a smuggler.
