On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse came to North America. Total solar eclipse 2024 thrills millions across North America: www.space.com/total-solar-ecl...
Exactly six years, seven months and 18 days after the same type of solar eclipse crossed the U.S. from Oregon through South Carolina on August 21, 2017, this much longer event will be visible from within a narrow path of totality through Mexico, the U.S. and Canada, according to NASA.

The most magical moment I witnessed with family for the first time today in my life near Akron, Ohio. Absolutely no clouds and absolutely everything stood still. No words to truly describe it.

@@simplyyyfab_u_lous_3266 In 2017, I witnessed the total eclipse, but this time, I remained in my hometown of Albuquerque. I considered driving to Dallas, but the forecast predicted excessive cloudiness. Consequently, I experienced a 77% partial eclipse and watched the livestreams.

@@simplyyyfab_u_lous_3266 Cool! I'm glad you saw it. I hope I can see the next one in 2044 and 2045. The 2044 eclipse will traverse northern states such as North Dakota, among others, and extend into Canada. The subsequent year's eclipse will predominantly sweep across southern states, including Northern California, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico, though not Albuquerque, continuing to Florida.

London experiences solar eclipses all the time thanks to the rain clouds in the sky all the time😂. Just kidding. I spent a year in your great country back in the 1970s. I think it rained over 280 days the year I was there. It was the coldest summer I have ever experienced.

In Alabama when I woke up this morning, the sky was mostly clear and sunny. But as noon approached, planes began drawing lines in the sky. The lines expanded and connected and completely covered the sky. Only a tiny peep of the eclipse was seen as it turned crescent. Finally, that part was clouded over. The temperature dropped some, then in about half an hour, it began to rain.😒 So much for trying to watch the solar eclipse.

@@StaticBlaster Sooo because you said none of "these things" have come to pass that means it hasn't happened? What did I keep repeating? Maybe you would like to share what your comments are? Eclipses, meteors and other universe phenomenons like today are not just random and are not created out of nothing. If everything was random, our planet should've been hit by many meteors a long time ago...or at least should've blown up by some other cause by now. Be well and be at peace.

@@dz7a756The assertion that Jesus will return has been a constant refrain for centuries. To keep repeating this phrase with his supposed "return" never happening is delusional. It's worth noting that the universe is vast, with an estimated 1 septillion planets. That's a 1 with twenty-four zeros after it, a number beyond comprehension. Earth's uniqueness is extraordinary, and it's plausible to think that it might be the sole cradle of technological civilization. The presence of "intelligent" life here is unique, but our intelligence is questionable if we possess the means to annihilate our own species, namely nuclear weapons.
