I had the rare privelage as a kid to watch a pro gamer play through the entire game at the arcade! He didnt die once either!!! P.s. 12:41 was particularly surgical. Well done!!

I feel so happy! I’ve been looking for this game for years and now I found it in a suggestion by youtube. I played this arcade game in my child hood for hours but never payed attention to the name that’s why I forgot it. Thank you and you have my subscription as acknowledge:)

Holy shit! There was one of these at one of the comic shops my father worked at! I never remembered the name of it, but I remembered that at the end of every level, you got to a weapon select room. You also changed your aim by TWISTING the control stick. Novel, but it meant that if you had to fire behind yourself, you had to twist and rotate your gun to fire that way.

Beautiful, wonderful, fantastic game albeit it becomes too easy once you have the fire + super power up. I'm sure, the guy who had uploaded this clip above, also has fire + super power up. and look at the enemies. While there are quite a few of them, 98% of those boys do not even have guns.

A few weeks after i got my MegaDrive (Fighting System) i went to the toy store to buy my first non-packed in game. Pleasantly surprised to see this right abovw the counter, and on sale! Disappointed there was no co-op, but there were many upgrades to off-set that, such as some graphical effects and a stellar soundtrack.

In MAME on cell phone to be able to rotate the weapon. 1) Press "Coin" and "Start" to open the secret menu. 2) Go to the "Input (this game)" option. 3) Go to "Positional Analog Dec" option on controller P1 and press "B" to open the options, then press "C". 4) Go to "Positional Analog Inc" option on controller P1 and press "B" to open the options, then press "D". 5) If you want you can do it on controller P2 too. 6) If you make a mistake, press "B" and then press "Exit" to reset everything. 7) The game "Heavy Barrel" which is the predecessor of this game, has the same system of rotate the weapon.

@henrikhyrup39954 жыл бұрын
Ohhh I remember this, but the arcade version I played was a bit different (bad port?) - when moving around there was a big squarred 'blur' around the char and that was the hitbox. Enemy bullets and such that came within that 'blur' (I really can't describe it any other way) would kill you, so you would die. All. The. Time. - 2:02 I've never seen the stage load like that. That would just appear normally in the version I played. - all the textboxes with Japanese were blank, like the ones at 13:32. I guess instead of trying to translate it, whoever made the Western version simply deleted the text. (?) - NO slowdowns in boss battles. The big ship fight near the end would run just as smoothly as if it was just your char on the screen.
