This tool is great for occasions when a client will produce a photo and say “I want it to look like this” , it really is a good tool and works very well as you said. Along with C1s focus on the end to end workflow of professional and commercial photographers this just makes it even more compelling. The times I have to use another editor are few and very far between nowadays.

Never before did photographers have so much control over their images but it very much seems most are not able to use this creative freedom, this is why presets became so popular. With every year photography on the web becomes more uniform and boring as everybody copies the looks which seem seem work best to get likes. photography has turned into an endless stream of the same kitsch.

I do agree with you, I think the hope is that the more people who end up doing photography for a longer period of time, they can develop their own style and find their feet! The other way of looking at it is that it's never been easier to stand out than right now

All can be done in Adobe PS Neutral Filters for years.

I mean yes, you can do pretty much anything in photoshop, this interface is very much the first time a lot of people will be able to do this with this kind of results though
