Loved this tactics video. Sir Alex was one of a kind wherein his teams played different variations of a 4-4-2, 4-3-3, or 4-5-1 (4-3-2-1) and they didn’t just stick to one style of play, and they would just adapt according to the situation. It was brilliant to watch.

@@Mynameisntjeff147 man, I actually prefer Klopp and Liverpool over Pep and City because of the historic rivalry and commonalities between Liverpool and Manchester (Scottish managers, music, etc.) but you make me despise Liverpool. Anyways I won’t stoop to your level and say Hillsborough. No one’s denying Bob Paisley wasn’t one of the best ever managers but Sir Alex is the greatest based on a number of factors (most trophies, built 4 different world class squads, 3 UCL finals in 4 years, 2 UCLs, 13 league titles, and the European Cup Winners Cup with Aberdeen).

Sir Alex Ferguson is the master of 4-4-2 tactics. Nowadays, less team use it. Most opt for 4-3-3.

Best part was Sir Alex’s 442 morphed into all sorts of different formations throughout the matches. Been watching some full matches from 1999 and 2007-2009, and his teams would go from 442 to 2-4-4 to 3-2-5 in transitions and those United teams were brilliant to watch.

Partly my sliders, but also just the way I play! I think it’s easy to get into a FIFA player mindset when playing the game, and as a result you lose that focus on only doing realistic things, rather than exploiting the gameplay
