Chanced upon this video whilst doom scrolling on Twitter. And just in time too as I am trying finish up my simple site and jumping straight to app dev. This can definitely give me some foundation for someone with no coding experience. Thank you Greg!

Great channel and exploration of tools that unlock creativity. Having wrestled with proprietary and OSS since the late 90s, I can definitely relate to how clumsy and labyrinthine the configurations and integrations were. Replit is one of those platforms that reduces those obstacles and makes enables much faster experimentation and implementation. I really admire the founder’s vision and accomplishment!

The deployment feature is a winner for me - I am not a developer, let alone whatever role the server / cloud setup and deployment task would be called... all the AI coding projects I have done are all hosted locally on my machine. Although I have had deep conversations with AI about the best technologies and options to use, I still don't fully understand it all, let alone the ability to become an expert in those matters... Looking to see how this develops in the future...

Fantastic video! I'm in the process of creating a landing page for my blog and experimenting with an AI-based 'niche finder tool' just for fun. I'm encountering some errors, particularly with generating PDF reports, but I'm still new to this. It's definitely enjoyable to experiment with these projects! Hopefully, I'll complete my landing page soon 😊. I've noticed the agent tends to slow down as the chat progresses.

Well i am a paying Replit Customer and can only say the AI part is not ready for any serious work. Even their own landmark demo does not run here fter several attempts. support is non existent.
@LofiHarmony-gj2by21 сағат бұрын
As long as Next.js, Tailwind, react, etc... are not supported by the replit agent, the tool is useless. The UI/UX of replit agent are really very ugly. No users will pay for a Micro SaaS developed by the replit agent. It was so laggy that it actually didn't show anything about the replit agent. Except a very basic app with no features. It should have shown how to add a full user management system, add a payment system, etc...

Do you delete old videos on your channel? Like I remember you interviewing this other hispanic us based youtuber who's focused on shorts, also a lady that was basically a prodigy in the sense that she was in her early 20s but knew multiple languages and had contributed to cybersecurity for a US government company. I dont know, might be confusing ypu for someone else.

@@GregIsenberg I am working on a website and an app, using GPT-canvas, and used gpt-pilot. The problem I see is that once you get beyond the initial complexity AI systems are unable to proceed further without breaking code that works already. So basically it is all back on the programmer, without the benefit of understanding of what was built before.
