Ottoman is the name given by Italians to Osman Gazi the Ruler of Turkey who Ruled between 1299-1324 and He (Osman Gazi) was the founder of Osmania Sultanat in Turkey which spreaded to Makkah It is not the name Of Usman RadiAllahu Anhu

The founder of the Ottoman Empire was osman, hence the name sultanat-e-osmania. Has nothing to do with Usman IbN Affan, the companion of the Holy Prophet S.A.A.W.
