4.5 forty is not elite speed and neither are 9 3/4 inch hands and neither is his height of 6' and weight of 205. I personally see him as just a very good wr made to look even better by a quarterback that can deliver the ball to him while he is on the dead run and also guide him to an open area with hand gestures. Without a quarterback like Purdy, those elite stats Aiyuk has put forth would not exist..

Hate the narrative you're pushing because Aiyuk @ you last week. The team tried signing him earlier than they had with other players on the team. Lynch said as much earlier this off-season. Aiyuk didn't like the offer and started negotiating in public. The team in return started leaking info. Aiyuk then demanded a trade and just recently, the team tried to oblige him. Saying the team has been trying to do everything to get rid of him is 100% a false narrative being pushed. Add in that Aiyuk is acting as if he has all the power in this situation when he clearly doesn't. The team doesn't have to offer him anything at this point and can continue to take his money every day he doesn't show up. I wish people would call this situation down the middle.

Ultimately, we're Niner fans, not Brandon Aiyuk fans. If he leaves to a rival, I sure as hell ain't rooting for him. He was happy as hell to sign a $25.5m APY deal 4 months ago. Now he isn't accepting significantly higher offers from us, nor is he willing to sign with teams offering even more money and reasonable trade package. He only wants to sign with the team that's offering us peanuts. Or he wants to make sure his teammates don't get paid or leave to go elsewhere. Jennings already took less than he could've gotten elsewhere, and Juszczyk took a pay cut. We don't ask this of these key players unless the salary cap really is tight. We don't let Armstead walk, either. We have no loyalty to BA, and while we won't be at our best without him, we can definitely win games and still compete for a chip. If he wants to hurt the team and burn bridges, he's going to have to take a big hit to the wallet.
