There are certain jobs that people do and part of that job is unfortunately having to be placed in situations where you will witness things that you will never forget for the rest of your life. Sometimes you can’t remember what you had for lunch yesterday but you are able to remember every last detail of an event like this and years later will still make you break down when you think of it.

Wound up her own Uncle snatched her up, and hid her. My dad was the one to go into the cellar, and there she was. She was hurt, but alive. My dad told my mom the little girl held onto him so tight. He was so elated she was alive. Plus he wanted to kick the Uncle's a**, but can't do that. The only case he ever talked about and only to my mom. It tore him up.

The police officer has a 🧡of gold. Kind of difficult to discredit him but they tried by making him feel like he did something wrong. It IS unusual to find a parent withdrawn or aloof on a scene where the victim is their 5 year old daughter.

When the officer starts saying how calm she was, if you notice, she looks at her attorney as if he was talking to her and then she starts the fake crying. He told her she needed to show some emotion! She tried to cry based on his instructions to her PERIOD!!

PTSD, from what??? How long has she has it?? Was she on meds for it, seeing a psychiatrist/therapist for it?? I'd believe that she was in shock as a defense instead of PTSD. I have it and know many people with it too and none would react in this manner to their 5 year old child being shot and lifeless near me. I hope she never gets out of prison.

These many years later and he remembers that horrific moment like it was yesterday,including the layout of the home. My dad was a Sacramento City police officer and it was years later and after he had died that my mom had told us about the days where he would cry behind their bedroom door for those that he wish he could have saved. His "Beat" was not the safest of areas.Too many far beyond saving. He brought his work home in his heart and mind like this wonderful officer did.
