Reporting under genocide: Six months in Gaza | The Listening Post

With international reporters locked out, Palestinian journalists have made huge sacrifices to keep the world informed of the unprecedented killing and destruction in Gaza.
More media workers have been killed by Israel since October 7 than in any other conflict in modern history.
Like the rest of the population, Gaza's journalists have also been maimed, arrested or threatened, have seen their homes and offices destroyed and are grieving over the loss of those close to them.
The Listening Post spent time with three Al Jazeera journalists between February and March 2024.

I just finished watching you journalists in "Six Months in Gaza" and I cried throughout your accounts of living this unbelievable cruel existence. You are the best of the best people in the world and your courage is remarkable. Even though I continue to watch all of you reporting from Gaza, I never stop crying, I pray also and then I can continue; I have to watch so that I can be a witness to what is happening to you before the world. I don't blame the Israeli citizens, but I do put all accountability on the Israeli government; I have read many books about the atrocities that took place by the Nazis, and I cannot believe that the Israeli government cannot see that they are doing the same thing to you and your people. The Israeli government is hurting its own people as well as destroying Gaza and its people. Many blessings to you and all your citizens, and thank you for your bravery. Also, many blessings to the Israeli citizens and all who suffer from governments with lack of compassion and humanity.
