How deep should the plant be in the pot? Should it be higher towards the rim? I’m a beginner and automatically assume the plant should be higher 🤷‍♀️ Thank you in advance for your time (and video!)

Assuming it is in a pot I would suggest using a good premium soil and adding a fertiliser at the root when planting. Make sure the plant has some room to grow, the pot shouldn’t be too small. And if it is a large plant now you should divide it into smaller plants and replant. This will increase your flowering output. Happy gardening 😊

Hi Jen, I’m just about to pot 6/7 agapanthus bulbs int a pot but what size pot would you suggest. They were a pathway throwout so I think they’re agapanthus. 🤔

It really depends on the age of them as 6/7 young babes would be completely different to 6/7 20+year olds. Make sure they have plenty of room to grow into but not too much that they look out of place. Its hard without seeing them

Hi. Iv bought a bag of 40 agapantha bulbs about 4years old that were dug up 5 days ago. Trimmed short with little green on top. My gardener got sick and has cancelled so long will they be ok for until planting in ground in 1 -3 weeks . and how to care for until planting? Its autumn but no frost here. Thanks.

It really depends on your location. Here in South Australia they’ll survive outside all year round. If you experience snow or constant frost I would suggest storing in a green house.
