Fruit trees need room to stretch their roots. Let’s talk a bit while I transplant my fruit trees into bigger pots. #backyardgardening #gardening #vegan #backyardgarden #garden #homesteading #organicgardener

I like that you seem to have good soil on your property. I have sand😕 I gave up adding to in ground sand - it just ate it up. I found some inexpensive container potting mix at Dollar General - $4 & $5. It has everything in it for repotting & I add Alaska Fish & now, acidic enhancer to my acid loving plants - I'll add the fish every two weeks & the acidic additive granules about every 3 months to the acidic loving plants. Keep up the good work❤

The soil in my ground is that clay stuff. The earthworms love it but digging in it is brutal. It’s hard and it clumps. Most of the soil I use is old mixes with broken down leaf litter, shredded paper, food scraps, cardboard, grass clippings, and other stuff. I build soil and compost in bins. Once it all breaks down, it turns into good stuff. Most of the stuff I plant is either on mounded soil, or in garden beds and pots. 😊
