Nice root work. Those boxwoods with their fibrous roots are no so easy to work with. You’ve done a great job. I’ll look forward to watching it develop into the future. Thanks, keep growing

I think boxwoods have pretty interesting roots because they all grow evenly unlike other trees the roots get real big

Following along in your boxwood journey. Great job and looks amazing! I know next to nothing about bonsai but your videos seem to take the mystery out of the process. You do an excellent job of explaining what you are doing and I really appreciate that. The boxwood has been totally transformed. Looking forward to more great content in the future.

I I utterly agree with Nigel, this boxwood has a nice stucture. Thanks for the video, I'm confident to repot my boxwood, I have been seeking advise from the two bonsai masters, I got to pay a professional fees to repot it coz they claimed that the roots is very sensitive.

I live in Canada and zone 4/5 normally boxwood do well here. I took cuttings about 3 yrs ago and have successfully grown them on and they look about the size you ha ve there so I am eager to try making one into bonsai. So will I leave it outside as our winters are pretty harsh? I have an unheated greenhouse and could put it in here but then it wont get the snow to cover it. Anyway going to give one a try just have to check out the trunk for the best one. Great video

You want to comb out the roots you don’t have to brake that many, loosen the dirt first. No you don’t want radial roots, you want what looks good to you. Break some rules.

Can you say “radial” like a million more times?
