I love using my Dollar Tree scalloped containers to make my own diy nursery pots for my semi hydro plants. Honestly, it's something about burning plastic that makes it so much fun!

I love, love, love your videos. You have given me so many ideas with your decorations and decor as some of my babies are sitting on my dining room table waiting for a shelf or location but what I love more than anything is your Bible verse at the end! ❤🙏. I had bumped into one of your videos and started following you the same day of later watching the video that Steve had of he, you, and Richie. When he said your name, "I was like, wait, is this the same young lady I just finished watching?" I had started following Richie maybe a month earlier as I bumped into his page as well. I was about to say, I love how you repurpose what looks like a dollar store popcorn container into a clear pot with some character. I have some plants in a purple dollar store candy dish. Pots can be so dang expensive and then dont even be comin with drainage holes! Then you picked up that salad spinner and thought oh perfect for my plants. I love how your brain works. You had a problem and you were able to come up with a practical, attractive, and budget friendly idea on the spot. Plant stuff can be nice looking AND easy on the wallet if you're creative enough.

Janee" Now that's one thing I would not have thought of, to put a bigger plant in. Now, I'm going to go to the Dollarama's here and see what I can find, for my Hibiscus Plant. I want to get it out of it's original pot, and see IF I can separate it, as I want to train one or two into Tree's. I have a Yellow one, with a Red centre, and it's so pretty, I just love it. I have bought all kinds of weird things at dollarama, for my plants, but never thought about a salad spinner. I like to be able to see my plants roots, the one you had there was perfect. Also like those other 2 clear pot's, but haven't seen anything like that so far. Your Plants look Great, and I love your ideas. Thanks so much

I killed my first Constellation by moving it from PON to cocopeat because the roots went bonkers. The vendor said the cocopeat killed it because it is too heavy. PON roots are very thin. I got a second one, but one day after watering, the soil and original roots fell off. I panicked thinking I would lose another plant. Thankfully, there was a tiny growth point, but it didn't do anything. I did not want to chance rotting it so I took it out of water and put that baby in Fluval Stratum. It was like magic! After it was big enough to pot up, I ordered a nice aroid mix from Etsy and now my plant is big and beautiful. If I get another Constellation, I will grow in PON and Tree Fern Fiber and never move it from that. I love keeping plants in things that are natural to its environment, but PON does look pretty in glass. I have small plants in Champagne glasses, etc. You are a brave woman. I loathe Leca and only use it to mix inside of the aroid mix or to plug up the bottom of a pot.

Oh wow! That was definitely a journey you went through with the Thais! And I been seeing things on using Fluval Stratum. I would love to experiment with it one day. Im so glad that theres a tiny growth point!! and thank you so much 💚

Word of caution; don't invest in the one that says bioactive unless that is all they have and don't touch it with your bare hands after you wet it. I did and it made me dizzy for two days. Also don't let it dry out or it will kill your plants. The stuff is worth the money though.

when you repot a new plant from the store thats in soil, do you top water for the first couple weeks? or just fill reservoir??

I typically let the soil just dry out first and water it! Or if I want to transfer it to PON, i transfer it right away

Yes! They sit in the water and develop water roots so they dont rot! 💚

Why didn't you put your Albo on a moss pole? You would have a bunch of cuttings. I see some aerials growing.

I don’t have any of my monstera deliciosas on moss poles. Just personal preference. 💚

I have my deliciosa on a coco pole but I don't see any reason for the moss pole at this point. Have a blessed 2024, your plants are gorgeous.

I need to put some holes in my yogurt containers and yesterday I went to the thrift store and saw 3 of those clear pots for $$2.49 and didn't get it. I'm kicking myself today. I will be going back later today or tomorrow to grab them.
