It is so cute, I finally got one after seeing yours months ago. So far the stem is still growing very long with lots of flowers but no sign of leaves, I am excited for it to give me some leaves. I need that pot in my life.

when i repot from semi-hydroponics, i activley shake the container so that the substrate is moving around a little bit, and just lightly pull the plant up. that way i don't risk it being snagged by the substrate because it's continuously opening and closing gaps in between. my roots stay intact that way.

I only began with tropical plants about 17 months ago. So, I've never seen this plant before. It's adorable. Pests suck, it will be okay.

Hi! May I know what new potting mix you used for your stephania erecta?

Hi! Love your videos! Just came across it yesterday! My stephania erects somehow has rippled leaves, what do you think might be the cause to it? I keep it pretty dry with cactus soil, watering it about once a week, and gets some south facing window sun each day. It’s quite puzzling.....

Ahh ! I had mine growing small leaves but unfortunately an accidental knock snapped the branch. it’s grown a new stem but no leaves. I think it’s starting to root after a year…but gosh i don’t know what to do with it ha. It’s got such a long stem (like an entire arm’s length) part of me wants to trim it…but I don’t know if that’s a good idea

Thanks for sharing! Mine did the same thing and I just chopped it. It's already forming a new sprout, so i would say don't be afraid to give it a chop!

The leaves are reminiscent of Nasturtium, that beloved and popular summer flower which is so ubiquitous all over Europe.

Yes! I actually got this plant because I want to grow Nasturtium when I have an outdoor garden. I love the resemblance!!

I also use the Dyna Gro fertilizer for all of my cacti and succulents (which is all that I have grown for the last 12 years) with good results. After 12 years of experimentation, I use a 50/50 mix of potting soil and inorganic grit for all of my succulents. It allows for good drainage but still leaves some organic material for nutrients for growth. I also have 4 S. erecta when are my favorites. However one of them refuses to wake up. I soaked it in warm water for 24 hours and then put it in soil and closed it up in a plastic bag. But it STILL refuses to wake up after 3 or 4 months. I cannot remember when I planted it, but this is August for goodness sake. It's almost time for it to go dormant. Have you ever heard of a S. erecta that acts like this? P.S. DON'T give your S. erecta too much water ... it will rot. I like your vids ... this one convinced me to subscribe.
