I think it all comes down to solos. You can use the non-replenishable abilities because the fights aren't as long and it's easy to leave when you don't have to worry about anyone else Also he's just built different

Is D&D fun at the momnent? Me and my friends were really put off a few months ago by the way they had removed the circle and dome afew other anti pvp changes. All the pressure and hardness felt like it had gone.

Smoke bomb shoudl probably just be reverted and given a longer cooldown to compensate, since the change to looting and party size has made it much harder for that old smokepot rat strat to work, and gear is so much more plentiful now. As it is, I can see it being a good pick if you're only playing 1 layer maps, but no recharge at campfire means it's a liability to take it if you're planning to go down to layer 2 or layer 3.

what is the purpose of wearing a rondel with crossbow? does it not just lower ur move speed and thats it?

the crossbow gains stats from rondel, so if you have a rondel with +1 weapon damage the crossbow will benefit from this, as well as the flat 5% armor pen innately on rondel

Smoke pot should recharge going down layers or they add an item like campfire kit that reloads items like that and caltrops.
