Actually the way Peter draws those clocks is similar to the way patients with Alzheimer's draw them! Drawing clocks is a common test to see how advanced is the memory loss - so "disintegration of persistence of memory" would be kind of a perfect name for this drawing

It was really interesting to hear you talk through your thinking and execution. Like analysing a famous painting "in reverse". And it is almost bizarre how well you keep the geometry and proportions in check.

@@peter_draws It was pretty painful to watch, period. BTW.. Next time you want to do a blind drawing. Put a thin piece of masking tape or something on the "top" of the pen aligned with the top of the nib. Then you'll know the orientation of your nib. Or, as you said, possibly use a ballpoint. Something where you don't get ink all over your fingers and transfer it to the drawing surface.

INCREDIBLE!!! The smudges and the numbers falling off the clock etc add so much the feeling of the scene. Almost makes it more surreal in a way. Especially since the drawing is purely a representation of a completely different artwork that was only existing in your imagination throughout the entire process

I'm no anthropologist, but I do believe the cloth covering must go over the breathing holes and not the seeing holes in order to keep out the 'Rona. Regardless, thank you again for a great video to entertain and stimulate creativity!
