Yeah I was wondering what was going on. The first time I clicked the notification it said that "this video is private". I thought Peter doesnt normally privatize videos. Glad to see it's up and I can now vicariously watch you draw as a noodle on guitar. Cheers.

Actually the way Peter draws those clocks is similar to the way patients with Alzheimer's draw them! Drawing clocks is a common test to see how advanced is the memory loss - so "disintegration of persistence of memory" would be kind of a perfect name for this drawing

Definitely one for the refrigerator. Or maybe some art gallery where instead of art being placed on walls theres just a refrigerator every 5 feet and some art hung on it via magnet.

It was really interesting to hear you talk through your thinking and execution. Like analysing a famous painting "in reverse". And it is almost bizarre how well you keep the geometry and proportions in check.

@@peter_draws It was pretty painful to watch, period. BTW.. Next time you want to do a blind drawing. Put a thin piece of masking tape or something on the "top" of the pen aligned with the top of the nib. Then you'll know the orientation of your nib. Or, as you said, possibly use a ballpoint. Something where you don't get ink all over your fingers and transfer it to the drawing surface.

@@TheNightowl001 or just use a lamy safari. They have the little notches on them to guide your fingers, which in this instance wouldve been good, and everyone has a lamy safari lol

When you added the first melted watch I was amazed, it is a weird paiting to begin with by the watch floating above the branch is a good addition but the hands and numbers exploding out in the air now THAT is an amazing addition. I love it.

I love that the way you describe is really close to the real thing and the mistakes were just a thing that happened because you kept losing the position I loved the smudging tho for some reason the blobs are fun

INCREDIBLE!!! The smudges and the numbers falling off the clock etc add so much the feeling of the scene. Almost makes it more surreal in a way. Especially since the drawing is purely a representation of a completely different artwork that was only existing in your imagination throughout the entire process

I really have to stop being attracted to people who I’ll never meet, but Peter’s personality is just so genuine, easy-going and gentle that I really can’t help falling in love a bit. Also I had the biggest, goofiest smile during this whole video and I loved the final result in all its messiness..

I'm no anthropologist, but I do believe the cloth covering must go over the breathing holes and not the seeing holes in order to keep out the 'Rona. Regardless, thank you again for a great video to entertain and stimulate creativity!

Actually, it should go over both to be safe, since the droplets containing the v can infect you through any hole.

6:25 - LOL. He draws the edge of the table further out from his finger. But in the next step he completely forgets that and resumes drawing as if the table corner was exactly where he put his finger.

I went to a salvador dali museum in france, it was magical. There were tons of wacky sculptures. One of the best moments of my life. Peter why arent u live streaming on twitch anymore.

I went to the one in St. Petersburg, FL. Seeing the Hallucinogenic Toreador was amazing, and the museum even had its own miniature labyrinth outside.

You did an amazing job of remembering all the details and drawing them approximately in the right place. As many times as I have seen that painting, including in person, I don't know if I would remember everything. I want to try this.
