ma'am what is the difference between megaspore and megasporangium?
@PreetiChaudhary-dv9tb6 жыл бұрын
Micro sporogenesis: 1. It is meiotic formation of haploid microspores from diploid microspore mother cell. 2. The arrangement of microspores in a tetrad is generally tetrahedral. 3. All the four microspores of a spore terad are functional. 4. Micro sporogenesis is found inside microsporangium. 5. A large number of microspore mother cells are functional in a microsporangium. Mega sporogensis: 1. It is meiotic formation of haploid megaspores from diploid megaspore mother cell. 2. The arrangement of megaspores in a tetrad is commonly linear. 3. Only one megaspore of a spore tetrad is functional. 4. It is found inside a mega sporangium. 5. Generally a single megaspore mother cell is functional in a mega sporangium.

Preeti Yadav ummm...it still didnt answer my question
@oviyaezhilvanan52006 жыл бұрын
Megasporangium is the other name of ovule which is present inside the ovary. Megaspore is produced from megaspore mother cell. Out of the four produced only one will develop into embryo sac. Embryo sac is the place where fertilisation of gametes take place.
