Reptile Photography

This is a video of a talk I gave at our local reptile group. (Northern California Herpetological Society). I discuss various types of photography equipment, some basic photography techniques, and simple post processing of digital images. I also discuss some specific tips and techniques that are specific to taking pictures of captive reptiles.

Hey Glen! Have you ever tried using a black background instead of a white one? I wonder if there are any difficulties there

Hey Kris, I have used black backgrounds, and for some pictures, it really makes the animals pop. In my experience however, it is less forgiving and more difficult for simple color correction.
