Hey there, I’m really interested in keeping either tarantulas or jumping spiders in the Uk, and I wondered if you use a heat mat for yours, or if a fan heater or heat lamp would work just as well? Thanks 😊

Heya! Heatmats can do more harm than good. I just keep mine in a warm room and have a heater that clicks on if the room drops below 23c (aka room temp). They don’t do well if they are too hot

@ Ah thank you, that’s good to know! I’ve heard so many mixed things about what heating products to use. I live in the southeast, and thankfully it doesn’t get too cold here until January/February. Would you recommend a thermometer/hygrometer for their enclosures?
