I've seen multiple people comment on his videos asking why he "teases" the animals with food. Do you really think in the wild they just get fed by humans? No, they don't. I think jay is trying to create the most realistic environment for these reptiles. In the wild these reptiles have to fight for there food and if they don't they don't eat. Jay making the animals work for there food kind of simulates how it would be in the wild in the sense of fighting and working for there meal, Which makes them even more comfortable
