Q1. January 25th is celebrated as National Voters' Day in India. It has been celebrated since 2011. The theme for 2024 is 'Making Every Voter Count'. 🇮🇳 Q2. NAM, or the Non-Aligned Movement, was formed during the Cold War. It was founded in 1961 by leaders from countries that wanted to remain neutral and not align with any major power bloc.The movement aimed to promote peace, independence, and cooperation among member countries. Some of the prominent members were: 1)Jawaharlal Nehru of India 2)President Gamel Abdel Nasser of Egypt 3)Sukarno of Indonesia Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana 4)Yugoslav State Premier Josep Broz Tito Headquarter: Central Jakarta, Indonesia Q3. The 15th August was chosen as the independence day of India because it coincided with the second anniversary of Japan's surrender in World War II.

First ever celebration was held on 25 Jan. 2011 during the Government under Dr. shri Manmohan singh , congres Government. To mark the foundationm day of the Election commission of India i.e. 25 Jan 1950 . Q 2 ).... About NAM :==== NAM , stands for , Non Aligned Movement Formed , 1961 , In Belgrade , Serbia First Summit conference, Yugoslavia, Belgrade in sep . 1961. Basic concept of this organisation emerged in 1955 during Asia - Africa Bandung Conference held in Indonesia. Basic Reason to form NAM ,:--- There were confvlict going on over ideologies , like Western Ideologies hold by USA and its patners like , Democracy and captalism and other hand USSR ideologies , like Socialism. USA block was termed as First world countries and USSR block termed as Second world countries . India and along with India there were many countries who got their independence during time , which was also know as ,``Cold War period``. So, non of any new emerging countries were wanting to be in conflicts because of choosing any of the blocks , like USA and USSR, If any county chooses to be friend of any Block , then automatically it will become the enemy of other country, for any newly emerging countries , taking war with any other country , will be not seems good optio .so, countries like India and many other countries thinged to make a new organisation , which will not going to join any of Blocks, hence NAM comes in existence in the world . Founding memeber of NAM :--- India : Jawaharlal Nehru ji Egypt: Gamal Abdel Nasser Ghana: Kwame Nikumah Indonesia: Sukarno Yugoslavia:Josip Broz Tito Current Condition of NAM :-- 120 contries are member 17 observer states 10 observer organisation . H.Q,. :- Central Jakarta , Indonesia Personal Views:- It was good to make that organisation during those time , hence India and along with India newly indenpended countries are not going to be in any of existing ideological war , ` Clod War ``.This also showing the thinking of Leaders of those time , like how they saved India and other countries to be in any conflicts .
