Republic Garbage Truck Fail

Here’s a garbage truck fail i caught today while roaming around. i think this was a pretty rare occurrence because theres little to no videos of this happening. i was a bit late to the scene again but i wonder how something like this could’ve happened, maybe when the forks were going in the dumpster pockets? i felt bad for the driver because it was very hot and it looked stressful while putting the trash back.. but in the end it all worked out fine. Who ever trained this driver didn’t show him nothing about using the truck to turn bins back over and little things like that.

He did alright in my honest opinion. With those bottom pocket forks, I would have just lifted it from beneath the lids to flip it back upright though. Still, he accomplished it regardless. I enjoy seeing the Blue Planet trucks.

That Peterbilt garbage semi are the only Peterbilt cabovers I see on the roads nowadays unlike back in the 1980s & down when fifth wheel cabover semis were common use here in the USA. Not just Peterbilt fifth wheel cabovers are rare nowadays, but also Mack, International, Freightliner, Kenworth, etc. ones too. Nowadays I see mostly conventional cab fifth wheel semis on the roads.

Republic here I come,been driving trucks for 15 years and I hope they train me right,if not practice makes perfect.That right there is Called GETIN'UR DONE !!!! New gen dont know much about that .

Bins will always flip with forks like that it’s normal but he did take a little long to flip it back over. But dude did his job and picked up the mess. Those new CNG trucks are the worse so much blind spots and they can’t pack recyclable for nothing

Guessing there's no outside controls, those new trucks are nice bur joystick instead of levers lowers efficiency and wears driver out more by jumping in and out just to dump at every stop!

It's only a 2 yard I flip them over by myself all the time at republic services in Indiana as a container welder my bad might be a 3 yard not as easy

I’m front load commercial. Been three months and good pay and basically i am a swing driver. Just kinda happened. Thought I was getting a route but they were using me as a help truck for overburdened routes. Taking the pressure off those drivers. Works for me.

Not sure why this was a FAIL? It was already knocked over and he did fine, I thought, getting it upright again and didn’t just drive off leaving the cardboard boxes like I’ve seen happen plenty of times.

I tried working there but they gave me a 5-panel everybody was asking questions they set me up for failure not my loss lol I have a CDL for 15yrs no tickets or accidents and no preventables
