Republic Services - Heil Python 1531 on Recycle with a Creaking Arm!

Inspirada - Henderson, NV.
1800+ cans is the amount of Mark's Tuesday route, it's actually getting bigger every week due to the new construction out by the M casino, that area is Mark's route on his second load. So cart lines all morning and a scattered recycle route with some new home communities in the afternoon, makes for a lot of driving.
Luckily the arm on this truck is fast, but the packer is slow so Mark has to stop and run the blade multiple times on this route as you'll see. He is a pro at picking the lines of cans without knocking anything over and still being fast.
The arm was creaking which is something you don't hear much on these trucks. The transmission is also having issues too so I'm not sure if this truck is still in service as I'd imagined them retiring this truck if it went out completely.

So unfortunately I didn’t end up really finding anything from republic on my trip. But if you ever get the time I definitely think you should check out a company called Geneva construction cleanup. I followed a 320 Octo edge from them but lost it. They as well as western elite have a pretty darn cool fleet!

@@trainstracksandtrucks Oh that's too bad, did you get to film any garbage truck while you were up there though? If I get the opportunity I will try to record them, I have seen them around with all the new construction around town. Can't guarantee anything though!

@@TheNVTrashMan the only thing o ended up getting was a 3 minute video of a Mack MR from Luna’s Construction cleanup. Driver was really weirded out but let me get a few clips. As for the edge, it dumped at western elite in Henderson at exactly 1230 on Thursday.
