I recall a time President Obama was scheduled to speak at an event near a VA facility, on a day I had an appointment scheduled at another one, a few counties away. I figured I would be one less part of the traffic jam, even though I wanted to see him. On my way back from my appointment, I realized I was alone on the highway. I saw an entrance ramp blocked by a Patrol sedan from another county. Every ramp was blocked. In the approaching lane was a motorcade, and a few cars back, a Cadillac limousine was displaying the Chief Executive Colors. I had no idea Obama would be on this route. I could not salute while driving, so I put my open hand out the window. I could not be sure, but I do believe I saw a waving arm through the limousine passenger glass. I miss having a human President, of the People, by the People, for the People.

He wasn't perfect but damn close. How freaky must it be to have a black ambulance follow you wherever you go. And, there's his blood type, an emergency trauma surgeon with all the stuff needed to perform surgery right there if they had to and the other ambulance was for anyone else injured.

As soon as then Senator Obama became a candidate extra security was needed and assigned to him & his family. @Blanchette Fotopoulos Nope, I can't take credit for naming it, the Secret Service named it. I'm terminally ill with a horrible disease that is excruciatingly painful but slow moving. It's SLE or better known as lupus. I have a special kind of lupus cause God needs me to be as politically incorrect as possible. People need to pull their heads out of their asses, learn the issues, decide what side of the issue you stand on, then educate yourself about your choice of candidates, pick one and then go vote. At this point, we've really messed up this beautiful planet He gave us and for people who have grandkids, do the right thing & vote for the person most likely to fight to make changes. But, anyway, I ramble but I like to make new friends, so I usually type too much. I was a judge, just a small town thing, no big cases for the news cycles but they were big for the people involved. And, I'll let you in on a secret, there's no Constitutional requirement that a judge sitting on SCOTUS must have a law degree. The last 2 who were appointed were appointed by FDR didn't have degrees. One had studied with a lawyer, was a paralegal. The other had attended Yale law school but failed to graduate. Don't let 45 know or he'll finally have found Eric a job. Anyhow, my state, SC, does believe that if lawyers were required to hear all the cases in the entire state, the system would become SO bogged down in legalize, it would fail to work. So, no law degree but a 4 year degree is required and I have 2. One in Communications the other in Abnormal Psychology. I was a defense attorney's paralegal for 3 years. He and I preferred criminal defense and Constitutional law. So, for 3 years, 8 hrs a day, I was in class. And, I didn't live in a small town, it was the late 80s, I saw brutal crime scene photos, autopsy photos, helped research and then help us get ready for court. I was married and he decided that he wanted to move home. We did and I worked another 4 years as a paralegal and office manager. That defense attorney was rarely present, so I sorta practiced law without a license. I lasted 4 years, hated everything about it. And, that's how I know how bad an attorney Lindsey Graham actually is, and he truly hated dealing with me. Eventually, everything came to a head and I quit. Only job that I've ever quit. During my time off, I babysat and dealt with the news that I would never have my own children. Then, this city manager called. They were in need of a Clerk of Court and based on a recommendation by a "baby lawyer" who I had taught a lot, when we worked at that law firm, I took the job. And, rose to the position of judge. I wasn't the Chief Judge, but 2nd. I was also the only one who had experience handling criminal law or Constitutional questions which came up more frequently than I would have ever thought. I got myself in physical shape, running in marathons though I preferred weight lifting. I had a 2 hour routine I adhered to 6 days a week. It also helped with the stress of the job and my divorce. Then, I got sick. Really, really sick. I had passed 7 kidney stones the year before and I was headed towards renal failure. But, I was sent to see my Dr. Angel, an internist, and he figured it out with one blood test. But, sent me to one of the best lupus doctors in America and she confirmed his diagnosis. I was put on steroids that packed 80lbs back on me and then chemotherapy. Eventually, I began to have heart problems, my kidneys were better but still a source of concern. I've had pleurisy. When I went for my eye doctor appointment he freaked out because my optic nerve was huge and he didn't know if it was the steroids or lupus. So, he referred me to my neurologist, who's Dr. Angel 2. That's where life took an even more dramatic turn. The city that I worked for fired me. I had to apply for foodstamps. I tried to talk them into letting me work from home. I could do everything at my home except court and I could make it for that, but they refused. I lost my home that I had had built, not fancy, but nice. I lived off the charity of others for 2 years. Lot of deaths in a year and a half, including my parents. I'm now the caregiver for my oldest brother, he's 62. I'm an oops baby, I am 54. My other big brother is 61. So, my brother is mentally and physically handicapped. My other brother wanted to institutionalize him. I refused. He and I have a special bond. He's my 1st best friend. So, I think that there's a reason my illness kills slowly, I can take care of him. And, he helps me on really bad days. I'm a lifelong insomniac and I hate to waste time not learning things which is how I learned about the ambulance and The Beast. Don't get me started on Air Force 1 or Marine 1. Have a good day.

A true case of “you don’t miss your water until the well run dry” Obama was a true man that followed all the rules and respected all the countries of the world got no respect from haters whom hated him for no other reason accept that he was black regardless of what good he tried to do for the country and this planet called earth.
