Having grown up in Florida (born here in 1961), I'm getting to the point that I'm just tired of the stupidity coming out of this state. This Florida state legislator is a prime example of that stupidity. Logic, reason, and science take a back seat to fearmongering, lack of thought, and rhetoric. I used to argue that "Florida Man" was almost always somebody who came from somewhere else and just happened to be floating around Florida for a while until they got extradited back to Ohio or New Jersey or whatever hellhole they were trying to escape. Now, I just shake my head and realize that Florida is the stupid capital of America and at any given time, probably a quarter of the residents (homegrown or imported) are doing something that could end up on Cops, the National news, a viral video, or all three.
