ONOP needs separation of legislature & executive arms of the constitution, similar to the USA model of democracy. As long as PM & CM is elected by Lok Sabha & Vidhan Sabha respectively, there will be instances where they lose majority and no 1 person has (absolute) majority support. Having the people directly elect the PM/CM separate from MPs/MLAs will reduce instances of horse trading and when PM/CMs are free to appoint ministers who are not MPs or MLAs, they will be able to appoint the best talents to ministerial posts, which will benefit the country & states.

Arnab, Why cant you make the much watched debate, a decent event. Let the veiwers watch and ubderstand each others arguments. When the panels are interrupted by the other side the flow of thought gets affected. A good number of youngsters are watching the prgram . Let us observe deceny in debate. In no oter country this kind of overlapped talking is observed. It is considered indecent. One side has a good tactic. When one side puts a decent argument and when the veiwers listen to it, the other side has to do is just raise a finger and Arnab calls his name and flow of information is stopped. Arnab please try to help the youngsters watch and hear what the panelists say and convey. Dont try to spread voice anarchy and say "hot debate" hot debate" . Let Let us have a decent debate and not street fight. When one side puts forward a correct argument the other side will not answer or put a counter argument but make a street political meeting and the panelists have to shout their lungs out .
