Good work! I have the very similar Weiler Condor lathe. It came with the follow rest but not the steady rest. Looking forward to Your video on making one. I have not been able to find a used one at reasonable price, and have considered making one. Or modify the bottom of a used one from another lathe, which is perhaps less work. I have also used shafts and worn out hydraulic rods as material with good results.

i also know some people too who fix everything with angle grinder (Flex), hammer and blowtorch :-)
