This song was composed by our late Mum & Dad (Mr & Mrs Mataki Kaiaruna) of Enuamanu from a biblical drama first released by the Cousins in Auckland. This is the secret to this song, only us knows the story of how it was composed and from which book of the bible..then no one can claim it is there’s. But as requested, I will translate it for you: Toku aere anga na te metepara o te ao nei..As I walked through the desert of this life...Aere atu au e, na te ara roa e.. Mary Iuta Sorry for the late response to your question. Yes, we do know the meaning and how it was composed. The reason why we didn’t come to the open was this song wasn’t registered in our parents name but was firstly recorded in NZ with album Fabulous Cousins with my brother being part of the band. We kept it for a reason that if someone claims it’s theirs, then we will ask for the meaning and how it came to the conclusion of this song.👌
