I approve of your decision to not employ people who cheat on their mate. Good points about only showing people the right way, I'll remember it. Sound wisdom, as always 18:40 My Judo sensei told us that he got a letter from a girl who took just his basic class for 1 semester. Years after she left she wrote to say she had been attacked on the street alone at night by multiple guys, and she was able to fight her way out. And her training had really helped her. He said it was the best thing that ever happened to him in his life - I see why

From just listening to a lecture by James, he is a very good instructor.

Thank you for 20 great pearls of wisdom. All 20 were received and noted word-for-word but No. 9 is especially germane this minute. Your statement has erased my frustration and now re-ignited my responsibility to a few students in particular. Thank you!

Fastest way to lose a student is to run down some else or talk down to them. If I disagree with a technique that a student brings up, I show them why mine is better rather than knock theirs. I've taught on a couple subjects in my day, and learned that early on. It's important to make eye contact and keep the students engaged. I hope to get the scratch to train with you before my body craps out the rest of the way. My skills suck. Watching video is fine, but no substitute for a training environment. Not even close.

Love him or hate him, you can’t argue with the knowledge he gave to all of us. I knew him for 20 years. One of the best men I ever met.
