It’s dependent on the status of the sponsoring family member. If the sponsor is a U.S citizen than it would usually only take about 6-8months( perhaps longer now because of Covid. And if they’re resident then it’ll take much longer, usually anywhere around 2-3 years( again it may take longer because of Covid).

I'm a United States citizen born and raised in Texas I have found a nice woman who is now my girlfriend she is Mexican citizen I want to bring her here to America help her get her citizenship but I have problems I am eventually inherent impaired had brain cancer and first grade long story short I am on social security and we read up or she read up that I have to prove that I have a business of my own self-employed or and working for somebody basically I have to prove that I can support her that is what she read up and told me I think it is for marrying a foreigner I want to know if there is any possible way that I can help her get over here if I can be like all right I have or am on social security I make or receive I don't make money cuz like I said social security comes from government assistance but I get enough to support her which I get around $800 a month I think that is enough for apartment in my town 6 to 800 for an apartment

You have to meet 125% of the poverty guidelines meaning you have to make at least a little over $21,000 a year and if you can't meet the financial requirements then you need a Cosponsor and if you can't find a Cosponsor you need to have some kind of assets like stocks, bonds, checking and or savings accounts.
