Selling a used car can be a real pain but detailing that car for resale can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to sell. (And put some extra dollars in your pocket when it does!)

As a full-time detailer I know that Levi speaks the truth about gauging what the customer is paying for and what the expectations are. I feel like keyboard jockeys get upset when someone shows a real life situation like this because it wasn't a 100 hour detail to perfection. Most of the time (in my market) perfection isn't profitable because very few people care that much. Besides, when you get a beat up car and just do a basic clean it looks worlds better even without going to level 10 every time. Case in point, this video. Most vehicles I do come in looking like a 4 and leave at a 8.5. To customers it looks amazing. People rarely pay for level 10 type detailing and I think real life videos like this are great even if they don't glamorize our industry (I post on Instagram @jstngrbbs) Keep up with great work guys! Cheers.

In Sydney, Aus. In March this year I detailed my 1999 Camry wagon to sell, and it came up a treat. The car was sold within one day of placing it online, by someone who was prepared to travel 130klms (80 miles) with only seeing the pictures of the inside and out I had put online. 60% of the cars I do are like this, if the customer wants a wax or sealant then I decon and clay, obviously the price goes up. If they don't I use H2O gloss and guard as a drying aide and done. Those wheels looked SO much better without that black coat of plastic dip, good job. Looking forward to seeing the next installment 👍✌️
